Select fruit that is fragrant and gives slightly to gentle pressure. Be very gentle with feijoas because they bruise easily.
Ripen feijoas in a paper bag at room temperature (to ripen more quickly, add an apple to the bag). Ripe feijoas may be refrigerated; they normally last about 3 to 5 days.
Fat free, saturated fat free, cholesterol free and sodium free and a good source of vitamin C.
