Casaba Melon

Small to medium in size, with a thick, tough, rind


Choose casaba melons that are heavy for their size and free of bruises.


Store casaba melons at room temperature until ripe. The skin turns bright yellow and the blossom end will give slightly when ripe. Refrigerate cut melons for 2-3 days.


Fat free, cholesterol free, very low sodium, low calorie, an excellent source of vitamin C.
